Achievements
Bolabay Publications is a publishing outfit headed by Associate Professor Bolupe Awe with over four decades of experience in academic publishing.
He started his publishing career with the University of Ibadan Publishing House as Science Editor in 1981from where he moved to the Nigeria Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, Lagos in 1985 as the Head of Publications Unit.
In 1986, he joined the University of Lagos Press as Editorial Manager, a position he held until 1993 when he voluntarily resigned and went into private consultancy services.
His quest for knowledge made him to enroll at the University of Ado Ekiti for a doctorate degree programme which he completed in 2009.
Upon graduation, he joined the faculty staff of the National Open University of Nigeria where he rose to the rank of Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Education.
During this period, he midwifed the publication of NOUN Journal of Education as well as other publications in the faculty.
He was appointed as Associate Professor of Education Management at the Faculty of Education, Federal University Oye Ekiti in 2017.
He was at one time the Head of Department of Educational Management as well as the Sub-Dean and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Education until he retired from the University in 2023.
He was the Managing Editor of FUOYE Journal of Education. He has published extensively in local and international journals. He is also a reviewer for local and international publishers.
